Real estate mogul and prominent birther Donald Trump on Monday blasted Quentin Tarantino’s Oscar-winning film “Django Unchained,” calling the slave-revenge epic “a disgrace” and “one of the most racist movies” he’s ever seen.
“I thought some of the choices weren’t very good,” Trump said during an appearance on “Fox & Friends.” “‘Django Unchained’ was probably one of the most racist movies I’ve ever seen. I thought it was terrible and a disgrace.”
Trump also said the movie should be brought up in the ongoing debate over new gun laws.
“You know, when they talk about guns and gun control — that movie, people should watch that,” Trump said. “You wanna talk about somebody with a problem. But I thought it was terrible.”
Tarantino won the Oscar for best original screenplay, and Christoph Waltz took home best supporting actor for his role in the movie.
