Tina Brown, the former Daily Beast/Newsweek editor-in-chief and naturalized U.S. citizen, warned Friday that legalized marijuana — which took effect this week in Colorado — would make the United States “a fatter, dumber, sleepier nation” and make it less competitive with America’s biggest global rival, China.
