The public radio program This American Life is retracting an explosive episode it ran on Apple’s factory in China. The episode accused Foxconn of hiring 13-year-old employees and having them work inhumane hours. This American Life host Ira Glass said that Mike Daisey, who did the story, “misled” the show during its fact-checking process. The story was “partly fabricated,” Glass wrote in the show’s retraction. On Sunday, Glass will detail the errors.

Daisey defends his work, saying “what I do is not journalism.”
