“The Daily Show” on Tuesday took note of World Wrestling Entertainment’s recent foray into domestic politics, with interim host John Oliver marveling that pro wrestling can present the immigration debate more effectively than mainstream news.

The WWE has made headlines in recent months for a storyline involving a tea party-inspired character named Jack Swagger and his racist manager Zeb Colter. But after learning that the anti-immigrant Colter was upset that Oliver had temporarily replaced Jon Stewart on the program, it turned personal.

Oliver enlisted forme WWE star Mick Foley — who wrestled under the pseudonyms Mankind, Dude Love and Cactus Jack throughout his career — to help him issue a challenge to Colter.

“Zeb, if you don’t like immigrants coming here and taking our jobs, why don’t you get your ass out of the ring and pick vegetables 14 hours a day for 50 cents an hour?” Foley said, adopting his best pro wrestling delivery.
