A Texas 6-year-old girl died on Sunday after she was accidentally shot in a San Antonio, Texas home, KENS News reported.

The girl was shot in the face when a loaded handgun went off, investigators told KENS. She was taken to a local hospital, where she later died.

Police told KENS that they believe the 6-year-old was the only person in the room at the time. However, investigators are testing her 8-year-old sister for gun residue, since she may have been in the room as well.

Investigators did not say whether the girl’s parents would be charged, according to KENS.

    More passive voice.

More assumption that it was an “accident” because…nothing.

  2. The silence from the NRA about incidents like this is deafening.

Time someone started compiling a score of good guys killed by good guys, vs bad guys killed by good guys, and published it on a billboard in front of NRA headquarters.
