Ted Cruz got some ink done.
Appearing on “Fox and Friends” on Tuesday, April Fools’ Day, the junior senator from Texas showed off a new tattoo of famed British prime minister Winston Churchill sporting a hat and a cigar.
“I’m proud to stand with Winston Churchill. I’m proud to stand, and I’ve got to say my wife was fairly astonished,” he said.
“You have a tattoo of Winston Churchill? I can smell the cigar from here!” remarked host Steve Doocy.
“If you look at the calendar, it might suggest something about what you’re seeing,” Cruz responded, hinting at April Fools’.
