Viewers watching Thursday night’s Republican presidential debate were very curious about the circumstances surrounding Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) birth in Canada, according to Google data from the debate.
While Trump dominated search engine queries during the Fox News/Google debate despite skipping out on the event, viewers were also searching out more information about the Texas senator, Fox News reported.
The top question: “Why was Ted Cruz born in Canada?”
Rounding out the list were “Where did Ted Cruz go to high school?” and “Will Ted Cruz get the nomination?” in second and third place.
“People will Google anything,” Fox reporter Shannon Bream said.
Cruz was born in Calgary to a Cuban father and American mother, which has fueled rumors he is not a natural born U.S. citizen and therefore not eligible to run for President.
Trump: Mission Accomplished.

Why was cruz born in Canada?
Because they US didn’t want him or his parents!
Leave it to Americans to google “why” somebody was born in a particular place. It’s like asking why Boston is in Massachusetts. I swear to God this country is filled to bursting with paste-eaters.
