A political spokesperson for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) said Monday that attacks from national Democratic groups like EMILY’s List won’t have much impact in the 2013 gubernatorial race.
“New Jerseyans don’t really care what big-money Washington DC groups do to distort records to support their big government agendas,” Christie spokesperson Mike DuHaime told TPM by email.
EMILY’s List called Christie “relentlessly anti-woman” Monday as part of a new strategy to weaken the popular governor ahead of November’s election.
