MSNBC guest and political strategist Robert Zimmerman said on Wednesday that Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) lacked credibility because he “takes more positions than the Kama Sutra.”

Zimmerman made the comments during a conversation with host Tamron Hall, discussing Paul’s comments linking the Clintons to failed Democratic Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes in Kentucky.

The Democratic strategist was critical of Paul, noting that the senator had just last week lamented that the “Republican brand sucks.”

“Now he’s segueing into 2016 politics,” Zimmerman said. “It’s about as transparent as he can be. I mean, Rand Paul takes more positions than the Kama Sutra and very frankly has no credibility in the process.”

After Zimmerman’s comparison, Hall attempted to make light of it.

“You don’t hear that often,” Hall noted. “I’m going to walk off the set now and Google ‘Kama Sutra.'”

However, her attempts to move past the comment were thwarted by Republican strategist Rich Galen who warned her not to Google it on her office computer.

“I’m joking, I do know,” Hall said, giving up any attempt to redirect the conversation. “Come on. I don’t know how that happened. But I think we’re all loopy from a long night.”
