Wikipedia users took notice of Rep. Steve King (R-IA)’s claim Friday that he was as “Hispanic and Latino” as House and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro, and the white, Iowan’s Wikipedia page was altered to reflect his newfound identity.
What does Julian Castro know? Does he know that I’m as Hispanic and Latino as he? pic.twitter.com/CYmNIdyqLW

Commenting on a quote by Castro criticizing the GOP for alienating hispanics, King tweeted, “What does Julian Castro know? Does he know that I’m as Hispanic and Latino as he?”
Not long after, his name on his Wikipedia page, normally Steven Arnold “Steve” King, was changed to Esteban Arnoldo “Arbo” Rey. Here is a screenshot, courtesy of Mediaite:
King is a fierce opponent of offering undocumented immigrants a pathway to legalize their status. He’s made controversial comments about Hispanic immigrants, such as suggesting that young immigrants are often drug smugglers with “calves the size of cantaloupes.”
OMG! You mean the people in the Iowa 4th have been represented by a BEANER all this time? Pull up your pants right now and let us see if you have big calves!
Holy shit! First the folks in Idaho are tricked into voting for a fag, now THIS! America is doomed!
The name has since been changed back. However, King is English, German, Welsh and Irish- and none of his ancestors came through Latin America. So, Steve King- as the English say- bugger off.
I say we deport him. Not because he’s Hispanic, but because his calves are too thick. Like avocados. Dude needs to go.
Maybe he knows where “El Chapo” is.
That’s a good point. We should ship Esteban to Guantanamo right now and aggressivlety question him about El Chapo’s whereabouts. It’s not like we’d torture him or anything.
