The Twitter account for Rep. Stephen Fincher (R-TN) posted a message on Tuesday about a love of “shagging”, according to The Hill.

The original tweet was deleted but not before being captured by Sunlight Foundation’s Politwoops site, which tracks and archives posts that lawmakers delete.

Here’s a screenshot from Politwoops:

The tweet included a link to the music site Pandora and the song “I Love Beach Music” by The Embers.

Elizabeth Lauten, Fincher’s communications director, told The Hill that Fincher’s Twitter account was accidentally connected to a staffer’s Pandora account through a third party application and that the tweet, “had nothing to do with him at all.”

Lauten, a North Carolina native, went on to explain to The Hill that the term “shagging” is a Southern term used to describe a dance done at a beach, and does not refer to the British slang for sex.

Correction: This post has been updated to correct the spelling of Politwoops.
