Stephen Colbert highlighted possibly the most outlandish state legislator elected in the midterms on Wednesday’s “The Colbert Report.”
Gordon Klingenschmitt, the host of a YouTube program called “Pray in Jesus Name” and a newly minted Republican Colorado state representative, expresses extreme anti-LGBT beliefs on his show and often performs on-air “exorcisms” to force “demonic spirits” out of the people he criticizes.
As Colbert put it, “everyone could use a little Klingenschmitt exorcism” — from atheists to a former FCC chairman to the President himself.
“Yes, Obama is possessed by a demon. And he won’t even show us the demon’s birth certificate,” Colbert quipped.

“Pray in Jesus Name”
Yes, because in the end, Jesus owns everything and everything belongs to Jesus and, therefore, the apostrophe and proper possessive tense is not required…doesn’t even apply…because it is fully implied by use of His name as-is, amen. Derp.
