Colbert Joins Fox Host In Being Outraged About Obama’s Speech Before It Even Happened

Stephen Colbert addressed President Obama's future speech on ISIS and expressed his disapproval of what Obama would say in the future.

Hours before President Obama made his big speech about ISIS on Wednesday night, comedian Stephen Colbert and Fox News host Andrea Tantaros were in accord about one thing: They totally disagreed with whatever Obama was about to say.

Acknowledging that “The Colbert Report” was taped hours before the speech was scheduled, Colbert nonetheless noted that he had a definitive take on the speech.

“All I know is that I completely agree with what Andrea Tantaros said at five o’clock, four hours before the President’s speech,” Colbert said.

He played a clip of the Fox host saying, “I’m very deeply troubled by what he will say.”

“I couldn’t have agreed more,” Colbert said. “Because I also have not seen it and I am furious about what I think it will be.”

After noting his future furiousness, Colbert promoted his future coverage of the President’s speech.

“We’ll have full coverage of the speech tomorrow whether or not I ever watch it,” Colbert said. “Hashtag Golfer-in-Chief.”
