Southwestern Oklahoma State University was on lockdown in response to reports of a man with a gun on campus, according to NewsOk.com.
Reports of the lockdown at the Weatherford, Oklahoma campus first came at around 10:20 a.m. According to NewsOk.com, a security alert was sent out on the school’s website.
“Unconfirmed report of man with gun on Weatherford campus, officers are searching,” read the alert.
At 11:18 the lockdown had been lifted. No gun had been found.
