Rapper Snoop Dogg dropped an endorsement for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Sunday, saying he thought America was ready for a woman in the White House.
“Just to have a woman speaking from a global perspective as far as representing America, I’d love to see that,” he said on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live.”
“So I’ll be voting Ms. Clinton,” he said.
Last time around, Snoop endorsed former Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) during the 2012 election, before going on to vote for Barack Obama.
These days, he’s firmly in the Clinton camp.
“I’ll say that I would love to see a woman in office because I feel like we’re at that stage in life to where we need a perspective other than the male’s train of thought,” he said.
