Comedian Tina Fey returned to “Saturday Night Live” this weekend to mock former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s endorsement of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Palin had endorsed Trump in a long-winded speech full on Palin-isms and criticisms of the GOP.
Fey mocked Palin’s history starring on reality TV in her sketch and at one point started screeching and swaying.
“Trump commands fire,” Fey as Palin said.
Watch the sketch:
No way Rump’s looking to trade up to an older model.
“She’s 2 Corinthians short of a Bible” was a pretty good line.
Fey might have to step up her game, it was hard to tell if this was parody or a simple reenactment.
Tina seems to grow to look more like Palin every day.
LOL, nailed it.
Tina Fey does a great job of impersonating her, but even satire Palin comes off as a little too clever and a little too likable than actual Palin in this skit. Satire Palin is kind of funny here. Actual Palin is an incoherent train wreck. Is actual Palin even capable of rhyming words? That would require actually knowing what you’re going to say next.
