Four people were shot Friday at a gun store near Kansas City, Mo. that caters to female gun owners, The Kansas City Star reported.
The incident occurred during an attempted robbery at She’s A Pistol, a store which also offers self-defense and gun safety classes, police told the Star.
Three of the robbers and one employee were reportedly wounded during the confrontation. The Star initially reported that there was a fifth wounded person whose identity had not been confirmed by police. However, the Star updated its coverage and only four individuals had been wounded.
The Star originally reported that police said one of the wounded was found several blocks away and was believed to be one of the robbers. As of late Friday, it is unclear whether this has been verified.
The paper reported that three people were in critical condition and one had less serious gunshot wounds.

Trying to rob a gun store is not one of the brightest things a person can do.
Aren’t good guys (or gals) with guns supposed to stop bad guys with guns? The problem seems to be that the bad guys with guns usually have the element of surprise on their side.
This would have been prevented if only more of the people involved had guns.
Je suis “Elle Est Un Pistolet”
A “good guy/gal” with a gun frequently becomes the “bad guy/gal” with a gun once the bullet leaves the barrel.
