Fox News host Shepard Smith couldn’t contain his laughter Thursday when he explained Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson’s theory on the pyramids.

Carson’s theory that the ancient Egyptian pyramids were built by the biblical figure Joseph to store grain was surfaced by BuzzFeed on Wednesday.

And Smith couldn’t control his amusement in discussing it.

“Ben Carson, the former neurosurgeon, said he personally believes that the ancient structures were not tombs for pharaohs at all, but instead enormous silos for storing grain,” Smith said. “That is decidedly not true. But that’s not stopping Dr. Carson.”

Smith also went on to dance in the studio after playing a clip of a rap song Carson’s campaign is using in an ad.
