Sen. Warren Took First Flight To Boston After Explosions

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D) took the first flight from Washington, D.C. to Boston upon hearing of the explosions at the Boston Marathon Monday, her office confirmed to TPM.

Warren learned of the explosions upon arriving in Washington from Boston. She remained in the airport and took the next flight back to Boston, where Warren joined Gov. Deval Patrick and state and local officials at the command center.
