State Rep. Joe Carr’s (R-TN) newly announced primary campaign against Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) misspelled the word “Senate” in the campaign’s banner image.
Carr’s campaign featured an image of him with “Carr for US Sentate” on Tuesday, the day he announced his primary challenge against Alexander. Carr’s campaign eventually recognized the misspelling and fixed the image.
Carr announced his candidacy on a local radio station Tuesday morning. Soon afterward Chip Saltzman, a campaign aide for Carr, said he would step down and join Alexander’s reelection camapign instead.
