Julia Rodriguez, a DNC delegate originally from Puerto Rico who said in a video interview with the Blaze that she would “kill” Mitt Romney if she saw him, should expect to be hearing from the Secret Service.

A spokesman for the Secret Service confirmed to TPM on Thursday that the agency is aware of the video and are taking appropriate follow-up measures. Secret Service personnel will try to determine Rodriquez’s intentions, as they did when they met with rocker Ted Nugent earlier this year. The Secret Service’s involvement was first reported by the Daily Caller.

In the video, Rodriguez said Romney “will destroy this country” and added that she would “like to kill him” if she ever saw him.

Ed note: This post has been corrected to reflect that the Secret Service has stopped short of saying it launched a full investigation.
