Second Phoenix Office Shooting Victim Dies

Mark Hummels, one of three people shot Wednesday outside a Phoenix office building, died Thursday night, his law firm told ABC15 Friday. 

“I regret to inform you that our friend, Mark Hummels, died last night,” an Osborn Maledon spokesperson said in a statement. “He was declared brain dead and taken off life support. Mark was an organ donor.” Hummels was 43.

The law firm said Thursday that Hummels would not survive his injuries. Steve Singer, 48, also died of his injuries from the shooting. A body found in Mesa, Ariz. Thursday was identified as Arthur Douglas Harmon, 70, the suspect in the shooting, Phoenix police said. Police said Harmon died of a self-inflicted gunshot.
