Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) joined the small but growing ranks of Republicans who are condemning the accusations being made by some GOP members of Congress against Huma Abedin, a longtime aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. And in Brown’s case, he is calling out Rep. Michele Bachmann by name.
Brown tweeted Wednesday evening:
Rep. Bachmann’s accusations about Sec. Clinton aide Huma Abedin are out-of-line. This kind of rhetoric has no place in our public discourse

Earlier in the day, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) delivered a floor speech condemning the accusations that Abedin was a Muslim Brotherhood infiltrator into the government, though McCain did not specifically mention the names of Abedin’s accusers.
