Sarah Palin announced on Saturday that she would stop selling subscriptions to the Sarah Palin Channel in August, a little over a week after Fox News cut ties with the former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential candidate.

Palin told subscribers to her channel that the content on her site will now be free, and that those with annual subscriptions would be refunded for the rest of the year, according to Mediaite.

“It’s starting August 1st, everything’s free, and just to let you know, that it is an honor to have you subscribe, really it’s been so illuminating and still is so illuminating to read and to respond to many of your insightful comments about current events, about so many things going on in our world today,” Palin said in a video message to her subscribers.

“Now, it is with an important presidential election coming up that we are going to do this,” she continued. “I just want to make sure that your voices and mine are heard by the widest possible audience across this great land of ours. I really look forward to continuing to hear your ideas and your dreams and your solutions for America.”

Palin launched her online video channel about a year ago because she was “tired of media filters.”
