Former Pennsylvania senator and 2012 Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum on Friday will address the National Rifle Association’s annual meeting in Houston.
According to a release from his conservative group Patriot Voices, Santorum will discuss “his commitment to defending the 2nd Amendment, his opposition to universal background checks which could lead to a national gun registry, and his belief that we must work to enforce existing laws, not create new laws that do nothing to deter criminals and madmen.”
His speech is scheduled to begin at 2:25 p.m. CST.
