Speaking to CNN, Rick Santorum struck back at accusations from his opponents that he doesn’t have the necessary “world experience” to be President.
“I have a lot of world experience. I’m the father of seven children. That gives you a lot of world experience,” he protested. He also said that his time as a lawyer coupled with his time in Congress meant that he had a good mix of private and public sector experience, concluding with a line he often uses on his stump speeches: “I’m not running to be CEO of the country; I’m running to be President.”
