Former Chicago Ald. Sandi Jackson pleaded guilty to a single charge of filing false tax returns in federal court on Wednesday, hours after her husband, former Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-IL), pleaded guilty to conspiracy, false statements, mail fraud, and wire fraud, stemming form the misuse of around $750,000 in campaign funds.

According to The Chicago Sun-Times, Sandi Jackson broke down in tears while entering her plea.
