Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) on Saturday night urged Americans to tune into his appearance on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” instead of watching the Republican presidential debate.

The first-ever Vine clip released by his campaign was captioned “What did I think of the #GOPDebate? Not good enough.” In the video, Sanders shakes his head and looks aghast.

Sanders is expected to join comedian Larry David, who has done an impression of the famously cantankerous Vermont senator on the show, on the New York City set. The landing page for his campaign website currently features a large image of David in his Sanders get-up, along with a note urging supporters to donate their “vacuum pennies.”
