It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it might be Bernie Sanders!

The president of a California-based skydiving company, NorCal Skydiving, said he received communication from Sanders’ campaign and that Sanders’ staff will offer him the shot to skydive into his campaign rally at an airport on Friday, according to The Press Democrat.

“I’ve been told they will run the idea by Bernie,” president Jimmy Halliday said. “I can’t confirm that’s the plan. I know that’s a possibility.”

The manager of the Cloverdale airport said that he has heard Sanders will make a “grand entrance” at the rally, but made no mention of dropping from the sky.

Halliday told The Press Democrat that he took a Sanders staffer on a tandem jump on Thursday but had not heard about any decisions from the Sanders campaign. While he said he is hopeful for the exposure of a Sanders jump, he acknowledged it may not come about.

For those who are skeptical because of the 74-year-old senator’s age, Halliday said never fear, he’s led jumps for people into their 80s.

“If he feels like going skydiving, I will personally take him,” Halliday told the paper.

The Sanders campaign did not respond to The Press Democrat’s request for comment.
