Ryan: ‘I Remain Grateful To Governor Romney’

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) said he’s grateful to Mitt Romney and proud of the campaign they ran, in a statement released after Ryan and Romney met in Washington Thursday, via National Review Online

“I remain grateful to Governor Romney for the honor of joining his ticket this fall, and I cherish our friendship. I’m proud of the principles and ideas we advanced during the campaign and the commitment we share to expanding opportunity and promoting economic security for American families.”

NRO reports that the conversation between the two was “constructive and positive,” covering family updates, reflections on the campaign and the fiscal cliff.
