Media mogul Rupert Murdoch on Saturday defended Dr. Ben Carson from the media’s scrutiny, as the retired neurosurgeon faces questions about numerous stories he has told about his past.
Murdoch, the co-executive chairman of 21st Century Fox, said that members of the media have simply targeted Carson due to his faith.
Carson seems to have won by standing up immediately and answering doubters. Seems CNN/NYT etc all hate faith based people.

Fair to scrutinize, but not twist findings. No such attacks on non-religious candidates. Even scrutiny of other leaders would help.

Facts are facts, but personal opinions and wisdom evolve with life experience. So judge present positions and hold politicians to them.

Media reports have called into question whether Carson was telling the truth about his violent past, a psychology exam he took at Yale University, and an offer he received to attend West Point.

H/t Mediaite
Don’t mention the pyramids !
Yes, the reason that the media is ‘attacking’ Carson is because of his faith. That is exactly correct. It has absolutely nothing to do with Carson repeatedly lying over trivial matters and talking about other crazy shit, like the pyramids.
You know who else is faith-based? Heaven’s Gate (or they used to be). The Manson Family. Astrologists. Satanists. Wicca. Tree-worshipers. The People’s Temple. Hari Krishna. Baal worshipers. That crazy Maine family that believes Croatoan will come from the void and remove all the troubles (he won’t, Only Audry Parker and her mom can do that.).
Being faith-based doesn’t make you a good person or a bad person any more than being white or black or Asian or male or female or American or Russian or tall or short or straight or gay or anything else makes you a good person or a bad person.
But when you make up your personal history, believe easily disprovable world history, and whine when people discuss and analyze this then you should NOT be President.
If “faith based” means basing all your decisions as President in accordance with the doctrines of your religious faith, I want no part of you in that office.
It should be no surprise he uses the same filthy lying victimhood that his filthy lying media properties rely upon to keep the clueless in their clutches.
