Freshman Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has been reprimanded by Democratic and Republican colleagues alike for a lack of comity during the confirmation hearing of defense secretary nominee Chuck Hagel, but Sen. Marco Rubio (R-TX) had a different message for the Texas Republican on Friday: keep it up.
On his official Twitter account, Rubio said he’s pleased that Cruz entered the Senate “to make a difference not just make some friends.”
