Romney Wins Michigan Primary

Mitt Romney has won the Michigan primary, avoiding defeat in the state where he was born and raised and where his father was governor, NBC News and the Associated Press projected.

With 70 percent of precincts reporting, Romney has 42%, Rick Santorum 37%, Ron Paul 12%, and Newt Gingrich 7%.
