Mitt Romney will hold at least 20 finance events through the end of May, Politico reports. According to a campaign schedule, Romney will be in at least 15 different cities.

Because the campaign will now open at least some of these events to the press, Romney can campaign and raise money simultaneously.

From Politico:

At least three of those stops are expected to be multi-event trips, simply listed on the schedule right now as “Florida” or “California,” without the type of event described next to it — indicating a number of fundraisers will be put on the schedule.

That will mean at least 20 events, in addition to keeping up with public campaign stops. And the fifteen different cities are in addition to the six fundraising events Romney is holding in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut this week.

On April 30, there will be an eveing reception in Boston, according to the schedule. The next night, it’s multiple receptions in Philadelphia. The following night is Washington.

Through May 10, he’ll be in Wheeling, West Va., Indiana (where Gov. Mitch Daniels is expected to host a fundraiser for him), Oklahoma City, and Omaha, Nebraska.

The rest of the month includes Kansas City, MO, New Jersey, Florida, Illinois, another three-day swing through the New York tri-state area, and “policy roundtables” in Boston on May 24. He wraps up with fundraisers in California the final days of May, right ahead of the state’s primary.
