Republican presidential candidate and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Thursday afternoon retweeted a joke about President Barack Obama financing terrorism.
Cruz has said that if the Iran deal “is consummated” it would make the “Obama administration the world’s leading financier of radical Islamic terrorism.”
Former GOP Presidential candidate Mitt Romney has criticized Cruz, and said that he was “way over the line” for his comments.
Some conservatives have jumped on a comment Obama made during his speech on the Iran nuclear deal Wednesday.
“We have no illusions about the Iranian government or the significance of the Revolutionary Guard and the Quds Force. Iran supports terrorist organizations like Hezbollah,” Obama said during the speech. “It supports proxy groups that threaten our interests and the interests of our allies, including proxy groups who killed our troops in Iraq,” according to The Washington Post.
But, he continued, “if we are serious about confronting Iran’s destabilizing activities, it is hard to imagine a worse approach than blocking this deal.”
Here’s the joke Cruz shared from Breitbart News writer John Hayward.
Ted Cruz: Obama’s helping Iran finance terrorism!
Mitt Romney: No, he isn’t.
Barack Obama: Yes, I am.

From a guy whose father was an admitted terrorist revolutionary, yet has enough support from idiots to run for our presidency.
What a country we live in.
You can always tell how good a joke is by the length of the article required to explain it.
Ted, FYI…
joke jōk/ noun

“Joke”? And this is what passes as Rethug humor.
Once again proving, Republicans just do not understand humor.
