Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are in excellent health, according to letters from their doctors released by the Romney campaign Friday.
Romney “is a vigorous man who takes excellent care of his personal physical health,” writes Randall Gaz, a doctor at Mass General. “He has reserves of strength, energy and stamina that provide him with the ability to meet unexpected demands.”
Romney takes a low-dose aspirin and the chloesterol drug Lipitor every day, though his doctor calls says “he appears years younger than his age.”
Ryan is in equally good health. “Your overall health is excellent,” writes Brian Monahan, attending physician to the House. Ryan suffers from “airway hypersensitivity” which sometimes requires him to use an albuterol inhaler.
“You have practiced important preventative lifestyle choices to include regular, vicorous aerobic and strength-building exercises, a heart healthy diet, smoking abstinence, and infrequent alcohol use,” the House doctor writes.
