The Romney campaign brought in over $400,000 in the first three hours since the Supreme Court’s ruling upholding the health care reform law was announced, campaign spokesperson Andrea Saul told TPM. That number number does not include any proceeds from a fundraising email the campaign sent out around 1 p.m. ET in which Romney promised to repeal the law.
From the fundraising email:
Today, the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare. But regardless of what the Court said about the constitutionality of the law, Obamacare is bad medicine, it is bad policy, and when I’m President, the bad news of Obamacare will be over.
UPDATE: The haul is now up to $1 million according to Andrea Saul, Romney’s spokeswoman.
