Mitt Romney again stood by his statement criticizing the Obama administration’s response to violence against U.S. diplomats in the Middle East in an interview set to air Friday.
“What I said was exactly the same conclusion the White House reached, which was that the statement was inappropriate,” Romney told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos. “That’s why they backed away from it as well.”
Asked to respond to President Obama’s assertion that Romney “shoots first” and “aims later,” Romney said, “This is politics. I’m not going to worry about the campaign.”
