Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Mitt Romney acknowledged that the past week was not a good one for him, with the changing declaration of Rick Santorum and not himself as the winner of the Iowa caucuses, and Newt Gingrich’s big win last night in South Carolina.

“Well, Speaker Gingrich had a good week. I think his debate sparring with Juan Williams was a great opportunity for him to show some strength,” said Romney. “It was not a good week for me. We spent a lot of time talking about tax returns and the vote change in Iowa.”

However, he later added, he would show voters that he is running a strong campaign: “I can demonstrate that I can take a setback, and come back strong.”
