Mitt Romney clarified remarks he made over the weekend that “true believers” watch Fox News on Laura Ingraham’s radio show Wednesday morning. At a private fundraiser overheard by reporters on Sunday, Romney said that “the true believers” watch Fox News but that he will have to reach independents and women to win in November.

Via The Hill:

“We’ve got to put some of our people there. We’ve got to get some surrogates there. We’ve got to get more commentators that are there.

I was watching a show on CNN the other night where all three commentators — as you can imagine, two were Democrats.

Well, you know, let’s even things out. Let’s put four commentators on or two. Let’s not always have it 2-1.”
