In the midst of several reports earlier today that Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) wasn’t being vetted by Mitt Romney’s campaign for the vice presidential nod, the former Mass. Gov. today confirmed himself that the Florida Republican was indeed being “vetted” by his campaign, reports the Miami Herald:
Romney just told reporters following his campaign that Rubio “is being vetted.”
So much for the anonymous folks who told ABC, The Washington Post and The New York Times the opposite.
