Romney Camp Can’t Say Whether Romney Supports Fair Pay For Women Law

On a conference call with reporters Wednesday morning, campaign aides for Gov. Mitt Romney were unable to say affirmitively whether Romney supports the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. 

That law, the first bill Obama signed as president in January 2009. made it significantly easier for workers — particularly female workers — to file equal pay lawsuits. 

The Romney camp said an answer to the question will be forthcoming.
