Mitt Romney on Sunday inevitably denied any plans to run for president in 2016.

“I’ve spoken on this topic so many times, I don’t have anything new to add,” he said on “Fox News Sunday.” “I’m not running, and I’m not planning on running.”

In August, Romney said that he wasn’t running in 2016, but added that “circumstances can change,” opening up speculation that he could make yet another bid for the White House.

Fox host Chris Wallace quizzed Romney, and asked him if circumstances could actually change.

“Chris, I’m not going to add to the story. I’ve had nothing new for you,” Romney responded. “My time has come and gone.”
