America’s favorite fake newsman doesn’t know what to make of Canada’s most notorious politician.
Jon Stewart took time Thursday to go over the latest round of allegations facing Rob Ford, the mayor of Toronto who has admitted to smoking crack cocaine.
Specifically, it was Ford’s response to sexual harassment allegations from a former staffer that got Stewart’s attention.
“Oh, and the last thing was Olivia Gondek. It says that I wanted to eat her p****. I’ve never said that in my life to her; I would never do that. I’m happily married, I’ve got more than enough to eat at home. Thanks very much,” Ford said to reporters on live television.
That remark left Stewart reeling, and the host couldn’t help but wonder if a certain disgraced American politician was looking ruefully at what’s unfolding north of the border.
“Somewhere in a basement, through his tears, Anthony Weiner is going, ‘What the f*ck?'” Stewart said.
