The Republican National Committee attacked Virginia’s Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe for attending political functions and parties when two of his children were born in a new web video Sunday. The stories come from two of McAuliffe’s books and were highlighted by BuzzFeed last week.
During the birth of his daughter Sarah, McAuliffe recalls being so stir crazy that this wife told him he could leave the hospital while she was in labor to attend a Washington Post party.After the birth of his son Peter, McAuliffe stopped on the way home from the hospital to drop by a fundraiser, which brought his wife to tears.
