Chalk up another good finish for Rick Santorum in the Midwest. The AP reports that Santorum swept the Kansas caucuses Saturday, a result that was expected but represents another sign of Santorum’s continuing strength. Mitt Romney picked up his own wins over the weekend, sweeping primary contests in U.S. protectorates and territories in the Pacific.
From the AP:
GOP front-runner Mitt Romney did not campaign in Kansas. Rival Newt Gingrich cancelled a scheduled trip to the state late last week to concentrate on Tuesday’s upcoming primaries in Alabama and Mississippi.
