The Republican Governors Association has two new ads in the Wisconsin recall race against Gov. Scott Walker, targeting each of the most likely choices for the Democratic nomination: Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk.
Last week, the RGA ran a single ad that went after both Barrett and Falk. Now, with the recall election officially triggered by state officials, the RGA is in the field with these two separate spots.
Falk is already officially in the race. Barrett is not in at this time, but has said he will make his decision shortly before the April 3 election day in Milwaukee for the mayoral race, in which he is widely expected to be re-elected. The filing deadline for candidates in the recall is April 10, with the primary on May 8, and the general election on June 5.
