Talks are reportedly underway to secure the ultimate show of party unity: having Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) formally nominate Hillary Clinton for President on Tuesday night.
While no plan for Sanders to officially nominate Clinton after the Democratic National Convention’s roll call vote, which is slated for Tuesday evening, has been publicly confirmed, NBC News first reported that negotiations to make that scenario a reality were ongoing:
Source tells @kwelkernbc Clinton camp negotiating a scenario where SANDERS officially nominates HRC at roll call conclusion; not a done deal

CNN also reported the talks:

But after those reports, NBC News’ Kelly O’Donnell reported Sanders will not nominate Clinton but would ask the Vermont delegation to back her.

He For She
Good for him, if true. Any of the berniebros who boo this speech will make themselves look like even bigger fools.
Bernie announced that, despite earlier promises, he will remain an Independent in the Senate. Wow. I’m so surprised. NOT.
At least he doesn’t get to chair a committee.
We are all “with her”.
Thank you for doing what’s right, Bernie. You might have taken the long way round, but at least you finally got there.
