A woman that tried to drive a car with a young child inside through a White House barricade Thursday, resulting in a chase toward the U.S. Capitol, was unarmed and all gunshots were fired by police officers, the Washington Post reported.

Multiple reports indicate the suspect was killed, but TPM has not been able to independently confirm her death. Authorities are expected to hold a news conference with more information at 6pm ET.
