Two people were dead, including the gunman, in a shooting Tuesday at a high school near Portland, Oregon.
Police Chief Scott Anderson of Troutdale, Oregon said at a news conference that a gunman walked into Reynolds High School on Tuesday morning and shot and killed a student there. The gunman also died, but Anderson did not explain the circumstances of the death. Neither the victim nor the shooter were identified.
The high school was evacuated, and authorities did not disclose any other injuries.
Police responded shortly after 11 a.m. ET to an “active shooter” situation at the school.
“I’m very, very sorry for the family and for all the students and everybody who will be impacted by this tragic incident,” Anderson said.
Anderson said another update would be given on Tuesday afternoon.

Monday?
Gun violence what a shame. Suburban school district so the active shooter is definitely not a terrorist.
Tuseday
So that is 4 mass shootings in 4 days. In other words a Tuesday in the US.
Sadly, because there are so many horrific events like these, a name has arisen for them: active shooter incidents.
